If the stylists cancels, your booking fee will be refunded and we will aim to reschedule your appointment with another stylists or the same stylists depending on which is sooner.
It’s best to review the cancellation policies of the stylist before booking or contact Afrostylists customer service for further assistance if a cancellation occurs.
Refunds on Afrostylists are subject to both the stylist’s specific terms and the platform’s policies. According to the terms:

To get in touch with a stylist on AfroStylists:
- Log In: Sign in to your account on the AfroStylists website or app.
- Find the Stylist: Use the search function to locate the stylist you’re interested in.

- Contact Options: Look for contact options such as a messaging feature or contact details provided in their profile.
If direct messaging is available, you can use it to communicate with the stylist. Otherwise, you may need to reach out through the contact details provided or through the booking system.
To book an appointment on Afrostylists, you can follow this process as outlined below:
- Browse the Marketplace: Customers can search for and select hairstylists offering the services they need through the online marketplace.
- Select a Stylist: Choose a stylist and review their services, pricing, and cancellation policy before booking.
- Book the Service: Once you’ve chosen a service, you can book an appointment directly through the platform.
- Payment: Payments are processed securely through Afrostylists’ payment system, using Stripe for transaction processing.
Note: Always ensure that your payment information is up to date and correct before completing the booking.
Booking fee is 10% of the total cost of service. If you cancel less than 24hours before the appointment the booking fee is non refundable.

- Find the Booking: Locate the appointment you need to cancel.

STYLIST FAQ
If a client doesn’t show up for their appointment, do the following:
- Review Policy: Check the stylist’s cancellation and no-show policy, which should be outlined at the time of booking.
- Charge Fees: Many stylists implement a no-show fee or require a deposit to cover missed appointments. Ensure this policy is clearly communicated to clients in advance.
- Contact Support: If the client’s no-show affects you, and you’re unsure about the policy or need assistance, contact AfroStylists’ support for guidance.
Ensure that your policy is clearly stated in your profile and at the time of booking to manage client expectations.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. However, note that cancellation policies and procedures might vary based on the subscription plan you choose. If you cancel, you will not be refunded for the period already paid for, and access to the platform will continue until the end of the current billing cycle. On AfroStylists, there are subscription fees for using the platform:
- Quarterly Subscription: £15 every three months.
- Monthly Subscription: £5 per month.
- Yearly Subscription: £55 for a discounted yearly rate.
These fees apply to users accessing the platform’s features. Be sure to choose the subscription plan that best fits your needs.
If you’re a seller/stylist on AfroStylists, your payments will be processed through the platform’s secure payment system. Here’s how you’ll receive your money:
- Payment Processing: Payments are handled through Stripe. Ensure your payment information is accurate and up to date.
- Payout Schedule: After a transaction is completed, the funds will be processed according to Stripe’s payout schedule.
- Account Details: Ensure your account details are correctly set up to receive payments. Stripe will handle the transfer of funds to your bank account or preferred payment method.

To register on AfroStylists, follow these steps:
- Visit the AfroStylists website.
